• Signs of hope: The availability of more identities in the world and the growing dissatisfaction with the current system. More and more, we see the young (esp Gen Z) occupy dramatically radical positions in society in ways that are tangible shifting the needle. I have a lot of hope for the future of humanity, perhaps we will be left with no choice but to do the right thing.
• Potential Threats: I am extremely worries about the nexus between AI alarmists, long termists, transhumanists, and effective altruists. The TESCREAL lobby is incredibly powerful and has significant control on technosocial narratives. I'm afraid this could cause major damage, potentially tinged by neo-eugenic ideas, if left unchecked.
